Chris is the creator and host of By the Glass. Prior to launching this podcast, Chris oversaw wine programs big and small in Texas. He received his Sommelier Certification while managing the bar program for Hillstone Restaurant Group's locations in Houston. At 26, he became the General Manager & Wine Director of Camerata Wine Bar, overseeing the award-winning wine program. Recognized in 2017 by Wine Enthusiast as one of the country's most promising newcomers in their annual 40 Under 40 Awards, Chris has spent the past several years collaborating with local non-profits and running international marathons.
